She started her news career covering the Vatican in Rome and then worked as an editor at major magazines in New York, including <em>Cosmopolitan<\/em>. Her writing has been published in the <em>New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Time, <\/em>and<em> Fortune<\/em>.
