Michael graduated from Columbia College in 2010 with a BA in history. He then joined Morgan Stanley, where he held several roles in the Fixed Income and Institutional Equity Divisions, primarily focused on listed and over-the-counter derivatives sales and trading.
Eager to continue a long-held commitment to community involvement in his free time, Michael joined the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation as a tutor, mentor, and founding member of its associate board of directors. Inspired by WHEDco’s groundbreaking work in affordable housing, he decided to pursue a career in real estate investment and development.
In his final year at Columbia Business School, he plans to continue exploring how to apply the principles of social impact in the real estate industry, particularly in urban communities.
