Prior to joining The Huffington Post, Chris served in a senior finance role at a number of start-ups in New York City.  He was the Vice President of Finance and Operations for Exhale, a high-end spa and exercise studio having multiple locations through the US.  While at Exhale, Chris reorganized its Accounting and Finance departments, assisted with the launch of 7 new locations and completed the acquisition and conversion of two competitors.  Prior to his tenure with Exhale,   Chris served as the CFO/COO for Madstone, a film production, distribution & exhibition company.  When Chris joined Madstone, its business model was in its incubation period and Chris assisted the founders with the design and implementation of the strategy and business model.  He also managed all of the finance and operations of the company through its expansion to theatrical film production and the opening of 9 movie theaters in the US market.  Before joining Madstone, Chris was the Financial Director for the independent film production company, Good Machine, where he managed the finance and operations and assisted in the company’s expansion into the international sales market.

Before his start-up experience commenced, Chris worked for Coopers and Lybrand Consulting.
