Mark is the co-founder & CEO of StreetShares, one of America’s fastest-growing financial technology companies.
StreetShares provides small business lending-as-a-service (LAAS) technology to banks, credit unions, and non-financial organizations.

Mark started his career as a US Air Force Officer and served in Iraq. Following a graduate program at Columbia University, he joined the law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP as a litigation associate where he worked on financial and securities disputes, including efforts to return investor money following the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. He left Milbank in 2013 to co-found StreetShares with former Capital One executive Mickey Konson.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA, and law degrees. Entrepreneur Magazine called Mark one of “12 Remarkable Veterans Who Changed Business Forever.” Inc. Magazine placed him on a list of the “Top 20 Military Veteran Tech Entrepreneurs in America.”
Mark is the chairman of the StreetShares Foundation, which provides free business coaching and grants to military-veteran entrepreneurs. He sits on the board of the Foundation for Innovation and Discovery and on the US Small Business Administration’s Veterans Business Task Force.
