Welcome!

The Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School supports the Social Enterprise Summer Fellowship Program, a unique and exciting opportunity for students to apply what they’re learning in the classroom with an organization making social change in the world.

The fellowship provides financial support to Columbia and Barnard undergraduate and graduate students engaged in summer internships that create social and environmental value.

Fellowships take place at nonprofit, government or nongovernmental organizations, for-profit and nonprofit social ventures, and social venture capital firms. Fellows help organizations across a range of projects and issues, including strategic planning, start-up business plan development, marketing and product strategies, financial analysis, operational improvements and performance evaluation.
