Michael Rauenhorst is managing partner of SIMA, which manages off-grid solar and microfinance funds, and advises investors on impact investments. He previously was with Deutsche Bank, where he co-developed some of the first impact investment funds in microfinance and healthcare. He has also worked at Moody’s Corporation, where he helped develop a social rating assessment for financial institutions. Michael serves on the boards of the Deutsche Bank Microfinance Development Fund, Stichting Social Investment, and Microlumbia. He is an advisor to Catholic Relief Services’ Impact Investment Committee, ACCION International, and Gregorian University Foundation.
