Bryan is a serial entrepreneur with several successful exits. He has over 25 years of experience in accelerating startups in a variety of industries.

He is CEO and co-founder of Glanris, which is the world’s only 100 percent green, hybrid filter media offering both conventional adsorption and metal removal ability. Its unique production method results in 98 percent less CO2 than competitors. It removes a wide breadth of organic and inorganic pollutants in a broad pH range. Glanris’ media is resistant to sediment and solvents and costs a fraction of other media.

Before that, he ran Memphis Ventures his consultancy for strategic marketing and business development consulting services to established as well as emerging companies in a wide range of industries including IoT, wireless telecommunication, software, and aviation. He also assisted investors with due diligence analysis on potential investments and provided interim management to several companies.

His experience with IoT systems began when he founded Skywire in 1993. Skywire designed, developed, and patented Coca-Cola’s first intelligent vending platform that is still in use today on millions of machines worldwide. Skywire also designed systems for PepsiCo, FedEx, and Total Gas, among others. He sold Skywire to Marconi Online Systems in 1998.

His next startup involvement, Media4 he helped sell to EchoStar in 1999.

Prior to Skywire, Eagle was a member of the executive management team of Cylix Communications Corporation, a specialized provider of satellite and fiber managed data networks. Eagle was part of the team that led the management buyout of Cylix from GE.

After a successful turnaround of the business, Cylix was sold to France Telecom in 1993.

Before Cylix, Eagle worked with several emerging communications companies, including being a member of the team that created and launched the Discovery Channel, and one of the original shareholders.

He began his career in 1981 as an advertising executive in New York with Ally & Gargano working on the launch of MCI’s residential phone service. In his three years at Ally & Gargano, the MCI account grew from test market to over $65 million in billings.

Eagle holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia University.

Eagle is also the founder of Emerge Memphis (www.emergememphis.org) a nonprofit incubator / fund for general purpose and technology-based companies. He also serves on several corporate, educational, and community boards of directors.
