Angelica is an actress and entrepreneur who studied theatre at Lehigh University and earned an MFA in acting from Columbia University. After graduate school, she began teaching theater and college readiness to high school students in the NYC area and later created the SmartStart Program for the financial tech company SmartAsset. SmartStart teaches financial literacy to underprivileged youth in NYC Public Schools. Angelica founded A4NY in honor of her grandmother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2016. Angelica’s vision for the creation of A4NY was born out of her grandmother’s love for art, music, and Shakespearean poetry, and she founded A4NY as a way to bring art to other elderly residents of nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.
