Erica Kelly is a case team leader with The Bridgespan Group in Boston. Her focus areas there have been in the impact investing, education, and global development spaces. She currently co-leads the team which provides “impact underwriting” to The Rise Fund, a $2B impact investment fund managed by the private equity firm TPG. Prior to Bridgespan, Erica worked in consulting at Bain & Company in their private equity group and on consumer goods, pharma, and social sector projects, and at Kaiser Associates across healthcare, CPG, and telecommunications sectors. She also spent a couple years in finance with Wells Fargo. Erica earned her master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she focused on economic development and international relations. During her time there, she spent three months working with Proximity Designs and Finance in Myanmar, and completed on-the-ground thesis research in Nepal. She grew up in Kenya, Lesotho, and the DRC. Erica lives in Boston with her husband and dog.
